Not like Bernard, he is a saint as he normally has brandy to warm the cockles of your heart:thumbsup:
For when Christopher has let you down!

I hadn't though of that..right that does it, my heart won't stand the thought of @ScotiaLass standing at the door in her nightie offering the delivery man a bonus if he can help her with her screws... I'm off to the safety of the Devon countryside..
it's when she says to the delivery man "will you fettle my rear derrière" instead of 'derailleur' that worries me !

Hi all

I am not lazy, I've been up for hours but this stupid windows laptop stupid thing is on a go slow again. I've done a virus sweep (every night that happens) and a malware sweep (that's a start up in the morning thing) and it's still bloody pants. I give in. I'm off to Scrumpymacs in Ipswich and trading in my old macbook and getting a nice reconditioned macbook with mountain lion on it. So there. Ha! take that stupid windows machine.

First I am going to catch a couple of dozen swordtails and take them up the fish shop for rehoming. They have bred like mad and we are very overstocked!!
I need tea!

Thanks for your advice @Blue, background here

Morning anyone on GMT -5, good afternoon everyone else..
just read that page of your blog...

eloquently written & very interesting.

my last charity event (while in the RAF) was a 100 mile walk for MS, chosen as I had a friend (lost touch) whose wife was a sufferer.

Turned out to be a shade over 115 miles completed due to my mate & colleague incorrectly measuring the distance at planning stage.

Still, it was one of the most enjoyable & rewarding things I ever did.

We managed to hustle sponsorship gear, tents, boots & other walking/camping related paraphernalia from Millets as well as free camping from sites & food/coffee.

Got radio station on board too who made regular reports over the 3 days we walked, so received lot's of horn toots & cash as we walked.

Those were the days.

Decided I don't want your job after all Ian, if it's all the same with you.

Thanks for reading chap and kind comments, and you @Blue, saves a lot of boring explaining here!
Just been to prepare tonight's supper, a chilli, just grated some 80% chocolate for it, most of which went in the chilli, some of which got tested for it's suitability first..:cuppa:

My Action Man came back with a frightened looking expression after a particularly difficult abseil to save Cindy from my bedroom window turned into a circus act on a rope swing ending with him being saved from drowning in the gutter above my bedroom window by my Dad. Happy days..not for him though.
