ooh, a new bike, how exciting Potsy! :hyper:

What a day! Was on the trike, pedalled into town, collected recycling, loads out: I normally get all of Precentor's Court on, but was full before that. Started back to meet the guys in the vehicle to offload some stuff, and found I had a p***ture. :cursing:

So I had to offload onto the vehicle, push the trike back to base, swap to the other one and go back out! Was knackered by lunchtime. :tired:

Still did another run into town in the afternoon though....

And our new CEO started today, and I still haven't actually met her! The guys did, when they got back, but I was still out, and by the time I got back she was in meetings... Still, she arrived with a large tin of Roses for us all, so I like her already...

I need this cup of tea. Anyone else? :cuppa:

More tea would be good. I need to go and de-bone the chicken in the slow cooker. Tea first!

Seedlings I have had enough of them, most of them have died after the weekend due to the rock wool drying out. Have to resow them, has been suggested that a misting bench might be a good idea. The college did have one in my first year, however like most things in AB college they don't work and never get replaced.

One more thing to add to my list when I become rich.
  • Buy horticultural lab equipment
  • Buy misting bench for the glasshouse
  • Buy St Nicks a fleet of electric vehicles.

Sorry it has been a hard day.
Do the trikes get punctures often?
Was wondering if there was an easier way then pushing back to base, especialy if you couldn't off load first.

A tin of roses?
There's a thought. You were mentioning making things for St Nick's...

Oooh, those are good! Some lovely stuff there. Lots of inspiration. I like the barbed wire thorns, very clever.

Punctures are relatively rare, considering how much we handle broken glass! If we carried a pump with us, we might sometimes be able to top up and get home, but this one today was totally flat, and went down quite quickly, so I think it would have been difficult to get any air to stay in.

Mind you, pushing is sometimes as fast as riding for me, with a heavy load!

Flops down for a nice cuppa after helping with French homework .....Mmmmmm-ahhhhhhh

Du the?

At least I have an easy dinner, I make double pasta sauce last night, so it's just a case of reheating that and cooking the spaghetti.... And since I went shopping, I have olives to add to it.

Is the tea thread being pruned or are me settings changing?
It was 1002 pages earlier this evening and now it is only 752.

Time for a shower:rain: and last tea:cuppa: I think.
