Yay! Working again!

My winge for the night.
Bloody kids. Tonight while riding in the rain to the theatre for rehersals:dance: a stupid kid decided to play chicken with me.:cursing:
I was on Tiddles in the cycle lane and going full pelt down hill with traffic on my right so nowhere to swerve and the stupid kid jumps off the tram station platform approach with his BMX and stands there in front of me playing chicken.
I decided that if I was able to stop then he would win and he and his mates would know I am an easy target for whatever, they might even be looking to bike jack me, but there wasn't much of an option to stop without contact. So I decided to just aim for the gap between him and the kerb.:gun: If one of us is going under a car then it isn't going to be me.:whistle: The kid gave up an dived away at the last moment.:surrender:
They have done it before, pretending to jump out at me, and presumably other cyclists, to make them swerve into the traffic flow.:cursing:

Then the heavens opened fully for my ride home and I got soaked.:bicycle::rain:

Awww, poor Tiddles, having such a fright and then getting soaked

Quick cuppa then I'm off to pick my new bike up, ooh I'm all :hyper:

NT- Bloody kids eh? My biggest worry about being on the roads at the silly times I work are things like that, touch wood I have only had a couple of incidents in the 2 1/2 years I've been cycle commuting, last one was just after the 'riots' when a large group of kids were hanging about and one of them chased after me on his bike and asked me to 'pull over' I didn't ^_^
