Been awake since 5am, that's what I get for going to bed so early! My knees still hate me though...
Time for a cup of tea methinks!

I am heading into town shortly to buy some shorts that fit!
Later on I will head for a wee 10 miles....yesterday almost killed me and my knees are still a bit achey.

I remember them. Bloody horrible In the dark or in winter you'd freeze your bum off.

The latter might actually benefit her, given recent mis-adventures trying new saddles!

I am happy to report that my bike is now working. The last time Mr D worked on any bike was about 50 years ago so the new gears are something he has never seen before. However he did say that i had never had use of all the gears and over time the problem must have got worse. He said I didn't have use of 2 gears on each ring and even when the lowest gear engaged it slipped back. He has now adjusted and greased where needed and made adjustments and all gears are working properly.

A new battery has now been put into my cat eye as well, so all is well. Lara is now AOK. Thats her name. LARA.
