Good morning to you girls (et lurkers)
Snow almost washed away, the rain is falling gently so who knows I may get out yet.
This is the disadvantage of staying near top of a hill, the lower town will be okay
but a cuppa on the desk
I sympathise! I often felt like I needed my bum massaging after a ride....don't think a masseuse would be happy doing that thoughI've promised the youngest that we will head up over the golfie and wander possibly down to Kilmacolm where she can bag the caches I've put out she ain't logged. I think I've tweaked a muscle in one of my cheeks. I blame the lycra padded shorts
I never noticed it yesterday but after throwing the bucket of water over her (Polly the bike) just to wash off any salt off, I took bike in the door and headed upstairs going 'ooh ahh oh ahh' but it seems to have 'fixed'I sympathise! I always said that I wouldn't wear any lycra or padded anything but I came back from my Wales trip and the women in the house had handed me a surprise present for 60th, a pair of Lidl cycling padded shorts with much mirth ( they cost a quid out of the bargain bucket) I have worn them since....I only wore them to annoy them....and now? just got another pair a couple a weeks ago..3 quid

Baggies go on top...I said I'd never wear lycra, but guess what?
It's the most comfortable thing ever, so I don't care that I wear it riding a MTB! I do have MTB shorts too and normally I like loose clothing but I choose the lycra shorts over the baggies every time!
Baggies on top!!! Are you deranged (don't answer that, me and WD know the answer...)Baggies go on top...
Wearing lycra underwear at my age
I think as I have worked outside all my life, I get away just wearing 3/4 baggy shorts.
Its a poor day for those heading out on the CC ride, hopefully tomorrow will be better
People of my age should be using the bus....Baggies on top!!! Are you deranged (don't answer that, me and WD know the answer...)
I'm doing the CC ride tomorrow...better weather
