I just had a phone call from my son. He lost power at home yesterday afternoon. He wanted to know if I had any spare room in my freezer for some of his frozen food. I will have to jiggle things around a bit, but we can put quite a bit into my freezer.

They lost power in town yesterday afternoon and went home from work at around 4pm. Lots of trees down apparently all over the place.
looks like I got off quite lightly, then again we are rather sheltered here in amongst the hills.

looks like I got off quite lightly, then again we are rather shelrered here in amongst the hills.
I'm busy translating a greek comprehension passage and questions. It's tough going as I'm getting a bit ahead of myself in relation to my skills. The tale involves a shopping trip to Athens but things are looking up as the family have agreed to meet in a cake shop after the Mrs has been to the hairdressers :laugh:
