Probably just me - the frame is very different from my old bike but I'm sure I should have 2-3 inches clearance and I don't have any

Well my Saracen is 26.
Am happier now and it has to be right. Just hope they are ok with me changing it - it's not really been ridden, just a few minutes.
i'm gonna go get me some late breakfast in a bit
