According to my phone app, the temp is currently 62F
I'm guessing this is typical for this time of year, as well as rainy and foggy. It's afternoon now and the fog is still here.

Wanted to get a pic of the ocean on the beach but the fog was too heavy, none of the pix came out.
The sand is so fine it packs hard enough to bicycle on.
Lucy had a blast on the beach, chasing waves. She got really excited and ran circles around me at top speed!

Seems you still have a fair way to go to reach your final destination, but a break on the way seems good.
