I haven't been whining all week. just last night. And i had to listen to bob whining about his cold last week. Like a baby he was. Im fine in fact.

I've been doing Greek all morning and post lunch. I'll do 90mins on the turbo now - whilst doing some more Greek!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm loving it.

My car is at the garage today having its first MOT and it's annual service. It was picked up this afternoon. I expect I will get wet when I it comes back and I have to put it in the garage. Doh

@Blue, how is the Greek coming along? Sounds like a great deal of time and effort going into this.

The Greek is going very well. I'm very pleased with progress. The reasons for the effort are varied, firstly I have been involved in learning all my life (retired teacher with more letters after my name than in it) so want to keep occupied in retirement; secondly I intend to spend 6 months of the year in Cyprus from 2015 onwards and would prefer to talk to the locals in Greek (even though most can speak English in the coastal area) as they take a Greek speaking Irishman to their hearts.

My favourite learning system at the moment is a PC based language lab I downloaded from America called BYKI. It was one of the purchases I made with the cash I won at the karaoke last month so it was for free to me!! I am also using books and audio files on my mp3 player.

Public beach access; too foggy to see the Atlantic

So this was in the womens public bathroom @ the beach.
an emergency response kit which besides containing a phone and a first aide kit also includes a defibrillator

I think this is called a Lliana tree.

That looks very nice. Looks a bit like some parts of Cyprus, without the sun.

Love the kitty in the car. We Blues are both kitty mad - one of the things we love about Cyprus where the feral population is huge.

About the same really. Hilton Head is pretty much directly south from where I was. From here though, it's more of a direct route to Texas.

Just looked it up in an atlas - where you are and Cyprus wouldn't be too far adrift from the same line of latitude which would explain the similarity to some extent.

Due to a complication, me, my dog and my cat are living out of the bf's truck while he's working on a huge tile job. He of course gets to sleep in the hotel room paid by the company. Of course he has to share it with another guy who is practically a stranger.
I'm thinking of buying a harness and a leash for Cat, I think she'd be okay with one. She would certainly be hapy to get out of the truck!
