Most states don't have sales tax on food (this doesn't include prepared food at a restaurant). But Mississippi charged 1% on food. Sales tax is between 9.8% to 5% though California may be higher then that now, seeing as how the state is bankrupt

California has been bankrupt for a long time. The governor waned to increase tax's, to pay for vital things, but the population didn;t. Hence debt was the order of the day wasn't it?'

This morning when I got up at 8 it was 39 F. It dropped to 30 by 1pm now it's 4:30, 22 F and.........
