Apparently her extended family is divided in to two fractions and fighting with each other. It seems that they all want a bigger share of her fortune. She has already given some and they have wasted it etc. It is all too familiar story. I feel really sad about it.

I have a similar story with a relative...he wishes he didn't have money, as he says it has ruined his life and caused nothing but trouble with his family.
She seems a lovely lady and recently diagnosed with Aspergers. Lives (or used to) just up the road from me.
