On that last part, have yee tried fishing for fish instead of a wee while. You might have more luck.Good thinking...
I once coveted a certain fly rod (fishing of course), I looked and mulled and when I finally headed to the shop.
I picked it up.....and no, it just didn't feel right, I didn't take to it at all and had a look around and saw one at 2/3 of the price, I was picked it up and knew right away...It's mine.
I still have the carbon wand and it still feels good ( although I haven't fished for a wee while).

Just around the corner from us: Indian takeaway, chippy, kekab/pizza takeaway, a small Pizza Hut takeaway, Chinese takeaway, pizza/kebab takeaway, Cantonese takeaway. Every evening I walk home past an Indian restaurant. The smell around here in the evenings can be quite overwhelming.

I am in front of the fire and yes it is nice and warm and yes my eye lids were getting heavy, but no, not asleep. Not quite.

Oooh, just like us!!
We live in a small'ish village and our house is sandwiched between two pubs, both serve meals.
Across from us on the main road is a Fish and Chip shop, a Chinese and a Cantonese.
Behind the pub is a Four in One (kebabs, burgers, curry and pizza).

I dunno...its the Marasa hybrid I got...
after 40 years without a bike, I didn't want to commit to a more expensive machine....TBH.
It'll do me fine
Just to add it coped with my then 20st...slipped but up to 18 but once the spring arrives I'll get working on getting less...
