Indeed!Rain.........
Same here, 24 years ago, pretty much before internet, when dating was more impromptu.I live in wonderment at times here.
I see what I want I go in shop, buy item then home.
The management and oldest lass....spend 4 days deliberating, 3 days finding who has it cheapest then 7 days wondering if it was a good choice then wait 5 days then take it back.....unless its a 7 day exchange...
SL,
Go to bike shop, look and if it 'hits' you...then sit on it....you know the rest.
You just get that 'That's me feeling' when you see things.....
Browsing on net is okay but its seeing it in the flesh/metal, so to speak
Mind you I did that with the XYL (YL then) and look at me 37 year later......
Happy sunday muddy sunday!
I'm here, just keep getting distracted by shiny bikesQuiet
Me, say something!Did you say something cassic ?
Good thinking...Yeah, I'm going to go through to Evans in Glasgow week after this one, as hubby has just started his week on shift.
I'll have a list of the ones I want to look at specifically, but must say that the hybrids seem to be calling to me....comfort and the option for some light trails and mud (where I'm happiest!).
Good thinking...
I once coveted a certain fly rod (fishing of course), I looked and mulled and when I finally headed to the shop.
I picked it up.....and no, it just didn't feel right, I didn't take to it at all and had a look around and saw one at 2/3 of the price, I was picked it up and knew right away...It's mine.
I still have the carbon wand and it still feels good ( although I haven't fished for a wee while).
Looking forward to hearing how you get on, I've had gone down the hybrid route albeit it a Voodoo and am more than pleased with my choice. My first new bike since I was a teenager and no, it wasn't a Kirkpatrick McMillan special...
