Got a 30/30/30 loaf baking in mine just now...never made cake though......yet

You have to mix the cakes in the normal way, then put it into the bread maker. Makes great ginger cakes, madeira cakes etc.

I have just taken my ginger cake out of the bread maker. It smells delicious even if I do say so, but it is very hot. . Cant wait for It to cool down.

Haven't really felt up to posting this until today, but here goes. My mum was taken ill over new year with what was 1st thought to be flu, then a water infection, then a gall bladder infection, but has been diagnosed as burkitt lymphoma, one of the rarest blood cancers you can get. She has now been in Birmingham for a week, beginning the long battle of treatment that is ahead. My cycling may get curtailed considerably over the coming months, with the travelling over to see her, but I still aim to get out when time allows, if only to de-stress a bit

So sorry to hear that gavgav. Look after yourself, as well as you Mum, it's easy to forget about oneself at such times. All the best to your Mum.
