No. Not yet. High up on the mountains, but not down here.
Go up & have your first snowball fight off the year!

Haven't really felt up to posting this until today, but here goes. My mum was taken ill over new year with what was 1st thought to be flu, then a water infection, then a gall bladder infection, but has been diagnosed as burkitt lymphoma, one of the rarest blood cancers you can get. She has now been in Birmingham for a week, beginning the long battle of treatment that is ahead. My cycling may get curtailed considerably over the coming months, with the travelling over to see her, but I still aim to get out when time allows, if only to de-stress a bit
Man :hugs: for Gav.

As you already know, I wish your mum all the best for a speedy recovery. Just give me a shout if there is anything I can do.

What sort of rabbits did she keep? Never seen one that laid eggs!
Odd, three on here with family connections to farming in Ireland.

What County?
Louth and Monaghan. They met on a train in Co Antrim and my dad asked my mum to a St Patricks day dance in their local church hall - the rest became history!

Right, that's the seat adjusted.
I lowered it and the saddle itself was slightly tipped forward...may explain why I felt the need to constantly push myself back in the saddle!
Took it a wee run down to the bottom of the road and back a couple of times and it felt more natural.
Maybe the sore butt issue has been fixed - only a longer ride will tell!
After adjusting my bike and test riding same I always recheck all bolts etc in case any work loose.

The first time I adjusted the seatpost and bars on my bike I didn't recheck and was in the middle of a 40 mile ride when the seatpost started to slide down into the tube. I adjusted the seatpost again and carried on only to have the bars twist in my hands. A steep learning curve! I was lucky enough not to end up kissing the tarmac!!
