Very well. It's a great pub with friendly staff/punters. We saw two herons fishing in the calm sea on the way home - they looked majestic in the moonlit shallows.Sithi.
How'd the "singing" go?

What a wonderful day, bright blue sky, good company, met up with two other 'Old Gits on Old Bikes'. We've toddled nice and slowly between tea stops all day. Good banter and cameraderie. The bare branches of the trees were orange in the light of the lowering sun on the way home just now. Life is good.
Seen on a blackboard in The Kilted Frog delicatessen in Inverurie "If you don't like it, change it. If you can't change it then change how you think about it"
Their custard tarts are superb by the way
Sunny and calm here. just back from a walk on the beach. Now for a nice cuppa followed by an hour of Greek.Blowing a gale here. How has your day been @avalon
Not bad today WD a balmy 8C what a change from yesterday though. Light starting to fade now but still a clear sky so likely a sharp frost in the morning. Was it cold where you are @rbreid .
My parents came from farming families and I spent most school hols on the farms when very young. Milking was by hand and I recall some of the cows would only let my uncle milk them - I must have had cold hands!!Evening , just in from milking , I think 2 hours of milking is the equivalent of half hour on the bike. Its been a lovely day , long overdue.
Its great that loads of people I meet are only one or two generations from there farming connection.
Both my parents came from what is now the ROI, but the whole island was under British rule at the time that they were born. However, many of my holidays were spent in the ROI and we were known as "the black Northerners"!!My mother comes from a farming family in southern Ireland. Must be why I love living in the country so much.
