Are those fruit trees in the foreground?

Yes. That is at the side of my house. We made a fruit orchard abiut 5 years ago. There are bramley apples, braeburns, pears, cherrie trees. However the birds eat most of the cherries

Luckily, this is my neighbourhood and even the tourists can't find me . At the top of the picture is an owl box, on the tree, put there by the local owl society. Its for barn owls. As yet though no owls have nested there.
Probably too much rain there for the owls :giggle:

We do have barn owls. I have seen them at dusk going up and down the field In that picture, but they havnt nested yet. Maybe it is too bloody wet.
Oh - that's just fantastic. Barn Owls are magic creatures. I do so hope they nest in your box. Maybe they nest nearby anyway?
