I live in wales. I have lived in wales since 1998. My grandchildren read, write and speak fluent Welsh. I do not however.

I was on the summit of Snowdon mid Sept in a gale and was treated to a rendition of 'Hen Wlad Fy Nhadau' by primary school kids, fantastic and most memorable.

It is an incredibly difficult language to learn. I know about 40 words and ten of them are the numbers one to ten. I am too old to learn now, and no heckling from the gallery either. Especially rbreid and or classic.
