Ive bought the dvd for an 88yr old cousin of mine - you want to see her watching Mrs Brown - with a glass of whisky in her hand - she spills most it laughing - i have one as well

Did you know that the one who plays mrs brown and cathy the one who plays the oldest daughter are married in real life. ?

At the risk of being serious, and talking cycling here ...

What are the pros and cons of powder coating vs spray painting? I happened to notice a company halfway between Hebden Bridge and Todmorden does powder coating and one day I might have a bike that needs repainting.

Yes and the girl that plays Maria is their real daughter, their real son is Buster and the neighbour, Winnie, is his sister.
Trevor is his son-in-law, Bono is his real grandson and there's more in-laws and friends!
Rory is his manager.

I love the show! (can you tell?)

Powder coating is very durable, also good for rust pitted frames as is quite thick and fills all but the worst of the pits. Be aware though that unless you have a full set of frame taps it is essential to mask up all threads as powder coat is as hard as nails. Also never get a silver soldered frame powder coated as you will get a loose set of tubes and lugs back:laugh:
Spray painting gives one a greater choice of palette and finishes, but is generally far more expensive. Some peeps get precious about which method to use on vintage bikes but I'd only worry about that with something really special.
Just to keep this post legal, best I mention I'm drinking tea and eating choccie biccies at time of posting:cuppa::hungry::thumbsup:
