My grandaughter has to have an operation on her jaw, and braces and teeth out. I had a round trip of 120 miles to shrewsbury hospital and back last year. I have to take 2 grandchildren to the dentist next week, that's 50 miles round trip, dogs to the vet. Pick up kids from school etc etc. Only me son and son in law drives and they are at work all day so that leaves me.
Ah, Grans taxi! Bless, it's nice you can help out though - I'm too far away from my little grandsons

I don't mind, but I would like a bit of notice. 10 minutes sometimes isn't enough really.

I hate that. Sometimes you can buy deep meat filled pies and like those ones they aren't. And the problem is you have to pay good money for that as well.
Just made a big bowl of mincemeat [with LOTS of Somerset cider brandy!].....just thought of another variation I could try with rosewater, tamarind, membrillo and PX sherry mmmmm.

Very nice. we had one just like it when we lived in the UK. Great for travelling long distances in comfort.

I was going to make some kind of sarcastic comment comparing what people think of as a long distance in the UK to what they think of as long distances in Australia but I think I may be breaking the new forum rules and I've already had several posts deleted or edited over the past few days by our leader.:biggrin:
By the way, hows the weather in Cymru today? It's very nice here.:sun::dance:
