I know where my towel is
I live far out in the west of west Worcestershire, in the 1950's according to @potsy and @Arch. Today, due to an altercation in the space time continuum, I have heard very vague rumours that today in the future is Black Friday.

Can someone tell me what it is all about. It is Grey Friday here. It is also Doughnut Friday.

Black Friday is the biggest shopping day of the year in the biggest economy in the world.

Wow. Well done. Its been such a long time since I went swimming, that I have probably forgotten how to.

There's a nice little pool in Harlech, I swam there earlier this year. It has a cafe too!

I like just plain old ring doughnuts wih sugar, preferably just fried/cooked when out by the seaside.

As kids we used to go Great Yarmouth and enjoy some lovely hot doughnuts along the sea front, but the place is looking a little worse for wear these days.

Well, I'm back from my 23 mile ride....it's really windy and there's lots of leaves swirling all over the place. I've got 4 hours work to do....and am psyching up to it. Tea first.

Did Tulisa not get you a cup of Tea?

My doughnut was a large fluffy one (with jam in the centre) from the Baker. None of these psuedo donoughts that tecso try to sell.

It's an American thing - sales to coincide with Thanksgiving, which they are trying to bring over here. Since the term Black Friday was used in the UK for a stock market crash I'm not quite sure it sends out the right vibe.
