Just about, one is 2 ½, the other is 5. They have more energy than me

Agreed! I kept them channelled onto one activity for all of 7 minutes. There was no down time!

With children of that age it is all or nothing. One minute they are rampaging around screaming they're heads off and the next they crash out wherever, either on the floor, or chairs or on you .
