We used to spend 6 weeks every summer with our Scottish relatives. The weather was usually a mixture of good and bad, but one year it poured every day for the entire holiday. The following year, we had a heatwave with about 15 hours of sunshine every day!

A few years back we spent a few days in Glen Coe and Fort William, stunningly beautiful, great food and friendly locals especially the stag who posed for photographs. He was handsome and he knew it

I developed a major dislike for Glen Coe and Fort William many years ago.
Last (and only) time I stopped there the weather was HIDEOUS

Was walking up a gully on one of the hills and it turned into a river. At least we got back down safely. Think we managed 3 days there and I was so relieved to leave!
Every time we drive through on the way to elsewhere it always seem grey and yeuch
