Brrr ... it's cold enough, but the back street is clear. I was going to walk a few hundred yards to get a view of the hill opposite but thought better of it.

The BBC forecast is for a brief fall of snow in Todmorden but for it to be washed away soon by rain.

If you are that desperate to know what it looks like round here in snow, here's some I prepared earlier. A few years earlier!

I went for a walk in the snow and thought it was a cute sign so I took a picture of it!

I assume that it was put up for the sake of local children.

Mack News ..... He had a hair cut at the weekend and is doing fine. He has Cushing's which is a illness affecting his glands, but a tablet for 50p a day will help him out. We have found his real owner who lives in Malta. She had put him on loan several years ago and he has been passed pillar to post.
The people who had him when we took him over are now being prosecuted by the RSPCA.

@welsh dragon, current still air temperature is 2.7C, its warmed for snow & it is trying to snow but not trying too hard. I can't see it coming to much.
@potsyWill be complaining of heavy overnight snow later on this morning.

It turned out to be a pleasant day today. Sunny and warm and certainly warmer then the 55F they predicted; though I didn't check.

I really didn't get much done today. Tomorrow though....
