Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.
It'll be the Katabtic Wind that'll cause the problems.
Goes quiet for a moment, whilst people check that one out!

So by the end of next year, a day will be 25 hours long.
No the day as in the amount of daylight.
A common year is 365 days = 8 760 hours = 525 600 minutes = 31 536 000 seconds. There are 60 seconds on 1 minute and 60 minutes in 1 hour. That means there are 60x60 seconds in one hour, or 3600. We also know that there are 24 hours in 1 day. Since we know know that there are 3600 seconds in 1 hour the number of seconds in 24 hours would be equal to 24x3600 or 86,400

So it'd take more than a year to get to 25 hours.

Mack News ..... He had a hair cut at the weekend and is doing fine. He has Cushing's which is a illness affecting his glands, but a tablet for 50p a day will help him out. We have found his real owner who lives in Malta. She had put him on loan several years ago and he has been passed pillar to post.
The people who had him when we took him over are now being prosecuted by the RSPCA.

Aw, he looks a little but sad there...

No snow here, cold today but glorious sun. The gritters were lining up to leave the depot as I walked home...

Had my pasta sauce currified tonight, with rice. Time to wash up now before Mum rings...
