State normal here in the NE of Scotland is rain, drizzle, scotch mist or fog. This year however has been exceptional. What rain we have had has generally been overnight and there have been far more sunny days than overcast. So a rare year indeed but all the more welcome for that.

Yes and very popular for caulking boats and waterproofing tents. Has similar properties to creosote. Apparently some otherwise sensible people imbibe it orally....not recommended unless you have a stainless steel lined stomach.

AH yes...the antidote for Yorkshire tea. Very sorry can't help you there though. Tea Total through choice as have already had more than my share in this life
