I have been reliably informed that the house opposite has a stair lift in it. I do not want my Mother to find out.
A while back NT and I were joking about installing a stair lift. The funny bit was thinking it would be installed on the wall side, in which case to make it up to the top floor in one go it would have to detour down a hallway, round a bathroom, back along the hall, round an office and a work room, and a kitchen...
I imagined sitting in my workroom making something, and NT chugging past waving....
