Four scones left, with plenty of double cream and jam.

I have just consumed a Chinese take away followed by a strawberry sort of cornetto.

We dropped into the West Lancs, presented our membership card, got a free train ride and then asked if we could do anything useful. So we ended up painting some girders which will be part of the new train shed.

While we were out, we bought a bottle of beer and a bottle of lemonade, so we'll have a shandy later.
