I am going to help build a log store this afternoon. :training: Partly for the fun of it but also because if I don't then I might not get to unload the car full of logs before the weekend!

I will not be wearing shorts.
But there should be :cuppa:

Have fun! With you there, it's bound to be a sturdy construction!

OK, just to reassure everyone, I, too, have not been wearing shorts. The Rocky legs are still covered up and may not be exposed until I get back from the Philippines in mid-May.
Speaking of Philippines, how's Master Rocky The First?

I am beginning to think that my shorts-wearing days might be over ...

I know my legs weren't great before I got ill but they are probably going to look pretty awful in the future from general ageing plus the damaging after-effects of my illness! I don't like tattoos but I almost feel like getting my legs done to disguise them. Mind you, tattooing over varicose veins ... :whistle:xx(

Hopefully I will eventually get over my vanity and be more interested in enjoying cycling bare-legged in the sunshine than bothering about what other people think. (If the sun isn't shining, the legs would be covered anyway.)

Hmmph, I need cheering up - I'm going to post my new weight over in the weight loss thread!

He's doing well, thanks Nihal. His four months as a science officer come to an end in three weeks and after we visit, he will travel to Australia. He plans to watch some of the British Lions matches out there. Then starting from 1 July he's got another job as a science office in Madagascar for six months. Then I'm guessing that he'll have to come home and get a real job . All of that is predicated on him sorting out his banking arrangements, which is easier said than done
