It is just starting to spit a bit here, I can live with a bit of rain just ice and snow at this time of year I can do without.

It has been quite warm here, I have had the backdoor open most of the day.

To be fair, it wasn't cold, just wet. Very wet. I even mickled the chain and gave the bike a wipe down when I got back.

I remember last year when I did the one and only 100 miler I got round to, it started to rain at the 48 mile mark and little did I know that it wouldnt stop for about 3 weeks.

Turns out nearly everywhere I cycled through got shutdown by the rivers bursting their banks and bridges getting water logged over the course of the next week.

But I have to say it was one of the most enjoyable rides I did last year as it was warm so I want really bothered about the fact that I was totally soaked to the skin for 52 miles.

Old PC now put away, and lappy is fully set up. Call me an idiot, but I quite like the new front screen, I've got all the apps I want sorted and it seems really straightforward.

We've been to Bolton, and back, to see a friend and catching up prior to missing his 50th birthday bash.
It started raining while we were there. Still raining now we're home.

Nihal, personally I'd like to see when the elephant comes back down he kicks that guy in the head! That's soooo wrong.

When we were in Thailand we got to see a show of elephants and monkeys performing tricks, cute sweet and funny. At the same time I felt uncomfortable because we all know they do not train animals using treats....
