Me again, first post wearing brand new lippy - does it look any better?

There's a Chinese restaurant in York that closed down for ages and has been reopened under a different name for a few months. I drive past it while working, four times a week.

Only yesterday did I look over and spot that the large stickers/frosting on the windows (all 3 of them), reads "Chinese Restaurant and Takeawy".

Whoops.

Back on the old steam powered PC now. I've put lappy to bed, having given Bill gates all my personal details and pledged the soul of my first born to Microsoft it finally let me use the computer. Tomorrow I'll get the security up and running and transfer over the data I need, then I can consign this trusty old girl to the loft.

Anywho, early night, work tomorrow.... that holiday seems such as long time ago.

Just having some fajitas for dinner after another bike home in the rain from the gym, I was better prepared tonight with full waterproofs......oh thank god I took them, absolutely torrential rain here in cambridge! Now, where's the cider?

Colin, I love your description of the signing. Having learnt some myself, I can just imagine it!

It just seemed like such a bizarre thing to have to sign - I would have signed the bit about the guide diving in, then signed that the deaf viewers should just watch the video clip!

(Incidentally, the reason why the guide attacked the snake was that people have been releasing overgrown pet pythons into the Everglades and they have been devastating the native wildlife. There is now a bounty on them.)

XP was nice and easy to maintain(had it till last year)......Vista was a sort of a nightmare..........they fixed it in 7.........then they brought out 8

Miss A_T just returned from visiting a friend where the locals call their Chinese takeaway 'Nobby Longs'.... because everytime they ring up to order and ask when it'll be ready for collection, that's what he says.

TVC when I sell a Windows 8 PC/laptop the program I put on it is this here -> CLICK ME it is Start Menu 9 and it puts back all the start button and program menus have a look it makes windows 8 much easier to use, and you can set it ip to bypass the silly Metro interface and go straight to the desktop.

If you do install it on the install there is a tickbox that says install Advanced System Care untick it coz its a load of pants
