Where are you going? Have you seen the write up that Satnav (says straight on) has done on her holiday in Scotland? It looks lovely up there.

I'm on the Peddars Way Path, from Suffolk to North Norfolk over three days. Gonna take the dawg too. We may both end up smelling of dawg by day 2 but at least I'll be warm at night!!! ^_^

Random question - what animal is strong and clever enough to make off with three coconut suet feeders and two metal bird feeders plus contents, some hanging 2' off the ground, the others about 4'? :cursing:

:cuppa:?

Can't see it being the landlords, unless the bullfinch has started singing on their windowsill at 5am again. No deer in the immediate vicinity - they prefer the higher ground. Fox sounds about right - there's a den at the bottom of the orchard but it's strange that the dog didn't bark. She gets really wound up when they're around.

Edit: that was at Biscuit.
@rocky - not the dog, she doesn't go round that side of the garden on her own (long story).

Hmmm I would think Fox. They've been coming around the house at night looking for food, spring time approaching and getting all nesty I should think. Makes them a bit more proactive. Dave goes mental in the morning when he can smell the scent left behind, but at the time he's usually in front of the fire or fast asleep somewhere. Great guard dog eh? Go with Fox.

We have a fox around here that was menacing next doors cat the other day, he's a big cat too but his owner was very worried about him, maybe that's why my cat won't go out for longer than 2 minutes any more?
Either that or she's a lazy fecker who likes her warm soft cat bed too much

Dave and Snipe have obviously been sharing notes and "tips".

Need to sort something out for the birds. The finches, blue tits and robins are squabbling over the remaining feeders and the woodpecker's in a grump because his preferred coconut feeder has gone.

Just pop em higher up. All you can really do. Or move them to a more exposed part of the garden, where the fox won't be so brave?
