:hello: Merlot - I hope you've been given lots of cat safe milk and some nice treats.

I have borrowed Arch's work bench to sort out some of my collection of vehicles. There is a range of scales so I will sort out those that are OO scale, or as near as, to use on the rail layout. There are not many, most are nearer O scale.
The rest will be put away again.

Forgot to mention that Tony Hadley was on our plane this morning. He did the announcement about the collection of loose change they do for comic relief on every BA flight. Obviously he did the announcement safely from first class, he wasn't going to come down to cattle class, and mix with the plebs, handing out the collection envelopes himself

Did anyone ask him if he was going to donate any "Gold!"...

Well, I've just spent the last half hour reading the posts in CA&D about Maggie RIP, and I'm in need of a large :cuppa:

Welcome back VC & L. A friend of mine came back from Phuket a few weeks ago, sounds a great place!

Well, today being my day off, I came back to York, quickly got some grocery shopping and then went to work... We had a sort of strategy meeting, and Monday's the best day to get everyone in.

Although as one guy was off sick today, the rounds overran, so I ended up helping to unload, and the meeting went on until 5....

Worst of all, Sainsburys Basic Noodles have gone up to 14p...

We did some rough sums at work, and as I have a pack of noodles every lunchtime, 4 days a week, worked out that I spend about £22 a year on noodles.... I reckon I double that with pickle sandwiches and Penguins, call it £50 on work lunches. If I just had a pasty everyday, it would be £180 just for them!
