We don't see many starlings round here in north London. I'm not sure what has happened to them. We do have parakeets which raid all the bird-feeders :ninja:

We often say hello to a starling or two when we go down into town for an al fresco coffee at NT's. They hang around by the tables looking for crumbs. Lovely looking, especially when they've just moulted and have really iri.. irride... irridess... shiny feathers.

Glad all's well in the Rockay family, bit late I know but I'm not on the interweb all day like other Tea Drinkers.:thumbsup:

Off to the Cinema this evening, I think we're going to see Trance. Very apt for me as I seem to be in a permanent trance these days!

If so they kept us entertained last year in the Lakes, feeding a few inches from us on the table outside a pub :thumbsup:

No. That's a chaffinch.

This is a starling:

That's a nice 'fresh' one. As the new feathers wear a bit, they lose the white tips and shineyness, and go more brown.
