I hope I have not spoilt the surprise. It is a Church Wedding in Cheshire on the first of June, are you free that day?
When Lu and I got married we invited everyone, but nobody turned up, they all complained it was a bit of a journey.Normally by this time of year, it would be warming up nicely. Time then for gardening, and gentle walks and getting out and about more.
I have been invited to a wedding in June. I really do want to go. Three hours driving on the motorway, if there are no delays on the M5 or M6, highly unlikely in my view. The wedding is at 1pm, so it is either an early start, or paying for (very expensive) accomodation the night before. The hotel chosen by the couple is fully booked on the Saturday night, so I would have to travel back comparatively late in the evening. The two people getting married have been living together for at least five years.
I think I might go for a ride today
Has he gone yet?I'll read your post when I get back, Potsy, wouldn't want to be put off going for a ride, would I?
Yes, even though many people say 'Yes, but where do you think the electricity comes from?' electric cars are still more energy efficient and less polluting for fuel use. Also part, or even all, of the electricity can come from non polluting sources, not something that can be said for fossil fuels.I'd really like an electric vehicle. Even though my car is pretty fuel efficient, it still is a polluter. I also get really fed up when there is problems with getting fuel at garages. Not having to fill up but just having to plug a car in, would be a real bonus.
Rocky,i dont understand, are you on a diet of "doorsteps"?- cheese and coleslaw doorsteps for me.
Are you going for a ride this afternoon?
. Lots more first though ... and possibly some of the chocolate I accidentally bought this morning.
I've heard some excuses in my time but you are taking the biskitsRide postponed slightly as my shorts aren't yet dry from being hand washed last night. Forgot to put them in the airing cupboard once they'd finished dripping. Oh well, more and chocolate
