There's a bloke in Cowling on the Pennine Way, who runs a B&B and builds helicopters in his spare time. He once built one he could ride in....he kept it in his garage

Knowing the amount of times I crash my helis I dont think i will be building and flying a real one anytime soon

I have spent the morning clearing out the 'under stair' area in the basement. Then I went through the boxes and boxes of stuff in my workshop and moved most of it to the under stair space.

Why is it that where there is a stack of long pole shaped objects they will always fall over in completely different directions ensuring they are a trip hazard in whichever direction one approaches from? Also how do that know not to fall over until one has a heavy and large box one's arms and so cannot see the floor, nor find anywhere to put the box down, to extricate ones legs from the tangle?:cursing:

My dad seems to have a collection of large valueless lampshades, vacuum cleaner tubes, other people's home recorded video tapes and humidifiers. I also found yet another large TV, this one is a 115v one so it can't even be plugged in!

The effort, and frustration, pushed my BP up and burst a blood vessel in my nose.
I am now recovering with some Haribo and :cuppa: before fitting some washing machine plumbing for a friend.

Gosh. Does he? I'm astonished.

<this post may contain traces of sarcasm>

Hope the nose is better now. Did you cure it by sticking Haribo up it?

Eh up, apparently they've chosen a Pope, news of white smoke breaking now...

BP is better. I installed some plumbing for a friend. That was less frustrating, but only just!^_^
My workshop is a mess now. I must do a trip to the tip tomorrow.

The Haribo was ingested, much nicer then poking it up my nose.

Pussy cat Leo has finished taking all his medicine for his arthritis. Today he seems restless and is doing a lot of wandering about, I am not sure why. He is still hobbling, sort of dot and carry one, but does not seem to be in pain. I suppose like any medication, there are side effects.
