I've been braving the outdoors. It is out there. The thermometer says 1 degree C but I don't believe it.

Well, Stalybridge was cold but sunny. I was just noticing the well defined snowline on the peaks when the train entered a blizzard and fog. Then it went pitch black outside, but that was the Standedge tunnel. Now back to freezing fog.

Problem is I dont really use the car on weekends coz I go out on the bike when I can and most of my journeys are just short round town.

I've started leaving the engine running for 20 minutes once a week just to keep it topped up when it's not been used.
Which reminds me, better do that again later as I might need it for a commute this week

I'm sure a battery charger would be more energy efficient, if you can get a mains lead to the car.

I'm sure you're right NT, hopefully it won't get left so long between uses from now on anyway so it shouldn't be an issue.
