Well played Italy, it was a scrappy game and we made a lot of mistakes. If we play like that again next week then Wales could give us a right old thrashing.

Earlier this evening our analog radio changed channels all on its own. I think it was my mums way of thanking us for the flowers my sister put on her grave, It's our first mothers day without her. :cry:

Fairly calm and sunny here in Manchester, although I suspect it's cold out. I think Stalybridge station platform is going to be a chilly place to wait today! :cold:

There was a nice little tea/coffee shop on Platform 4, where I come in, and depart from, and I got into the habit of nipping in for a tea to take on the onward train. But it's moved to Platform 3, under the subway. I probably have plenty of time (10 mins) to nip down and back up, but haven't had the nerve yet.

When I was commuting to London and back, I must have saved a small fortune by taking a flask. Apart from on Monday mornings. That was my treat - a latte from the AMT stand to cheer me up.
