Not read those, am currently on book 7 (of 7) of The Dark Tower, trouble is I started it about 3 months ago and have only read a few chapters, CC keeps getting in the way

I was looking at the list of all the books he has written and I have read less than a quarter. Don't get much time to read these days it is just that we have a holiday coming up and a couple of very long flights. TVC has booked an all day diving trip so I will need something to keep me entertained.

Went into W H Smith today as I wanted to buy a book and I had looked on the website and it says it is £8.96 so I thought I would pop in and if it wasnt in stock then I could order it, so in I went and asked for the book which wasnt in stock. So I asked if I could order it and she said yes you can that will be £12.99  .................. but its only £8.96 on the website say I ................. well its £12.99 in store she says ................. WTF.

Almost the exact same thing happened in waterstones :headshake:

We went into our 'local' branch of Waterstones yesterday, it was dark and so cold, freezing, we quickly went back outside to get warm! The humour dept was a couple of shelves with books shoved on them in no order what so ever. That is why we buy from Amazon (yes i know they have been rapped for selling dodgy stuff)

He is an acquired taste. Have you tried Cell? brilliant
The plot sounds vaguely familiar, I think I did.

My favourites, most of which I've re-read so many times that they're falling to pieces, are IT, The Stand, Insomnia, The Dead Zone, The Talisman, Christine and Misery. I really must get round to tackling The Dark Tower series.

The Talisman and The Stand are my favourites, I really wouldn't bother with The Dark Tower unless you are particularly  wish I'd not bothered but once I've started a series I like to finish it :reading:
