I think I will need to go to bed soon. I felled asleep with my bear beer at the beginning of Howard Goodall's Story of Music programme, fortunately I have recorded it.
I've had a couple of slices of toast to soak up the beer and Maltesers.

I didn't mean to be awake at 5.40, but that's the time the alarm normally goes off, and my body is used to rousing itself at that time, I'm sure everyone with an alarm clock suffers the same problem.

I have adapted myself to ignore the built-in alarm clock, mainly because of the stupid shifts I work my body doesn't know what day it is never mind the time
