I have a painful right knee. The big tendon above my kneecap is really sore when I try to stand up. Standing, sitting and walking are all ok, as are shallow steps, but picking things up and getting up from a crouch or seat is a left leg only job now.

My right knee is now strapped up but I need to look after my left Achillies too.

Hmm, rocky, you were right. A nap would have been a much more sensible plan than doing my laundry. In the process I managed to break a flowerpot and possibly the door to the bathroom cabinet. I say "possibly" because I can't remember if it was wonky before or not.

That is an excellent idea, Arch, the beach volley ball court. Perhaps I should invite the Brazilian men's Beach Volley ball team over to practice on it.

Yes, I have a bottle of wine in the cupboard, a box of chocolates may also be purchased tomorrow. Admittedly there has been a longer gap than usual since I last visited my Mother, but that has been due to the snow and floods in this area, causing this town to be something of an island.

I've just contributed to a thread on Velominati without having a clue what they are talking about. I know that's never stopped me before - but this time I've even looked up the relevant website but still can't fathom it out. Can I blame Potsy for that as well?
