Yes, there is an Elite women's Crit race around St James' park in the evening.

But there's no women's Grand Prix ride
Why do women have to ride separately anyway! Why not all together?

Noodles, Millar was in the Tour. Anyway, I was forced to watch this on the BBC, not sure how it compared to Eurosport, but the commentary was a bit basic and the in race views not so good, which would have been the same for everyone, not quite the usual ASO standard, maybe they were not using the French motos ?

Demare dedicating his victory to his coach, Herve Boussard, who died in June.
 
I watched it on bbc, it was disappointing they didn't know who was where or what the time gaps were between riders/groups. I could barely hear the commentators over the music/commentary in the background at the finish line (I assume this is where the commentators were based) . A good sprint at the end though with a nice wide finish and no crashes. :thumbsup:.

Agree the background noise was beyond a joke. What a balls up by the beeb.
