Very good win for Demare, FDJ were the only team that looked like they wanted to get into everything today.

They were still pretty fresh, Noodles, after doing the TdF as a warm-up for this race

Noodles, Millar was in the Tour. Anyway, I was forced to watch this on the BBC, not sure how it compared to Eurosport, but the commentary was a bit basic and the in race views not so good, which would have been the same for everyone, not quite the usual ASO standard, maybe they were not using the French motos ?

I watched it on bbc, it was disappointing they didn't know who was where or what the time gaps were between riders/groups. I could barely hear the commentators over the music/commentary in the background at the finish line (I assume this is where the commentators were based) . A good sprint at the end though with a nice wide finish and no crashes. .

Agree the background noise was beyond a joke. What a balls up by the beeb.

It wasn't that bad. I thought it quite good to be able to hear him trying to rouse the crowd a bit.
