So my planned group 2 ride of 77k turned in to a group 1 ride of 110k plus the the 15k to get meeting spot and the 15k back home. This was due to over 20 riders turning up the group 2 ride. It’s the village quiz night at the pub half mile away, do you think I can justify a taxi to get there.

Deal with hard core drinkers….as one group (Nurses)

I don’t start till between 05:30 & 06:00 when on an early-turn, but like to be up early, drink tea/let dog out/ride in/get changed/drink more tea

Post graveyard shift. Which hospital may I ask?

Meanwhile in the invalid ward the other day I was round next door chatting with neighbours, they offered me a choc ice which I refused. This am did the quiet time supermarket sweep, oh Magnums on offer down from £3.50 for 3, GTF, to £2. 🤔 yes I think I'll take those.

Lunchtime: Magnum. Nice. Ooh fancy another, why not? I do some outside work in pm in the sunshiiine then ooh, a Magnum would be nice and cooling. All 3 gone in n hours. Is why I don't buy chocolate.

Good ride though strong, chilly wind. Got the clobber right which was mean feat. But sun and wind on my back home was odd: warm back, cold hands and arms.

I missed quite a lot of it, seeing as I didn't get out of bed till 4pm.:tired: I took my dog for a stroll around the local park, fed my palm tree and er, that was pretty much it.:cuppa:

Out of interest, what do you feed to your palm tree? Ours just gets rained on every now and then.
