I might be able to make this ride, depending on what time I finish work on Saturday evening.

Went through the foot tunnel today, the new ferries were docking with the ramps, looking good not long now.

According to SEnine Facebook page:

“A technical problem with the new ramps has halted the first day of operation at the Woolwich Ferry. After a weekend of trailing, a two boat service was due to start this morning. But a problem lowering the new ramps put a stop to that. Staff training and electrical problems to the Ben Woollacott, delayed the scheduled 2 January scheduled opening last week.”

You’d have thought lowering the ramps would have been a fairly important part of testing!!
