Sig wants an easy ride to the cable car, so it's looking like greenwich park then back on the ferry

Oh TC1 - that sounds right up my street - I'm just geographically not in the right area at present! How is the cable car ride? Not been on it yet but hope to in the future.

Say hi to Sig from me! :hello:

Greenwich park remains closed until Oct 1st (and I'm of the view that, that's a very optimistic date for re-opening)
There's a whole lorra horse-poo they have to remove.

I like your 'dung-ho' attitude, User10571!

I'm away working etc for the next couple unless I win the Lottery (or nick VPaul's nearly 2nd best bike ) The cable car is splendid...and don't forget Fatboy's Dave. Or are you deciding not to trust User10571, King of the Pastrami Sandwich Spotters?
It could be a mistake...

Not sure what I'm doing in the morning yet, can't make my mind up whether to cycle into London or head out into Herts/Bucks. Will post on here first thing tomorrow. If not many are riding in London tomorrow I might wait till next weekend.

Nice ride out today with Topcat and Sig (nice to see you again Sig, it's been a while!). Went on the cable car across the Thames, bit windier than last time. Not quite as much fun for those of us scared of heights!! Still a good morning out, 30 easy miles and a stop as Fat Boys Diner thrown in.

Also did my good deed for the day. User called me just as I was coming off the Woolwich Ferry roundabout and as I stopped to take the call a runner came up to me. He was running a marathon and had managed to run out of water. He asked if he could have a little bit from my bottle to keep him going. I filled up his handbottle as I was nearly home. He was fairly moving too, was at the top of the hill by the time I'd got there.
