I bought some Roeckl cycle mitts a few years ago, still going strong
Well padded and comfortable.
Used to wear Roeckl horse riding gloves too, good quality.

Probably just me, but I ordered a pair of large, but could hardly get my hand in them. I passed them on to my brother, who has always had hands like a girl. We did a night ride for the solstice and he loves them, so I ordered another pair today at XL. My advice to anyone thinking of getting them is to size up.

they aren't bad for size although I can't remember what size mine are
