If we leave Rye by 4 pm then Ashford ETA should be around 5.30. We should have a helpful tail wind for that leg of the ride.

I've just had a look at the trains and decided that I can't be bothered getting to a station and paying for a train when it's quicker and cheaper by car. I'm not going anywhere near the Ashford International Station car park, though. It was £11 or more. I'll just have to keep off the booze until I get home again.

I've booked a car park space online in one of the open air carparks on the Ashford International Website £5.70 for 24hrs....could be worth a try it also says no height restriction as bikes will be on the roof if there is then I'll stop and off load them before parking

I'm so still super excited. I'm pretty shy at first. I'll have the white specialised with scuffs on it and CHARLOTTE ALICE ROSE vinyl on the side...proper professional looking...hehe.

I may cycle back from Rye...if not I shall be getting the train back to Ashford if anyone is interested.

No idea of timings. When we've finished doing our thing in Rye, I shall leap upon a train, hopefully taking me to Sturry station!

Yes, I shall be travelling from Rye to Ashford , then changing to a train to Sturry. Your company will be most welcome.
