I should add, really looking forward to this! Is it full on road or should I bring the Tricross shod in slightly more versatile 700 x 32?
I've been on Durano Plus 25mm tyres on that path with no bother. I'll be doing so again on Saturday.

Fair weathered, fair minded but easily persuaded.
Weather report looks good so far. A bit overcast but very little chance of rain and a light is headwind along the front.

Just a quick one do we go anywhere near the Little Trains of the Romney Hythe and Dymchurch Railway not 'cos I'm a Train Spotter but I remember going on it as a very small child many many moons ago

i have used that railway and put my bike in the guard's van, the people running it seemed keen that it be treated as a normal railway. i think most of its money comes from carrying pupils to school, i've seen it "ram-packed" with them.
And the Light Railway Cafe is a good spot - you can see your bikes while inside. It was excellent when Ray & Rita ran it. Now they're retired there are others running it, but it seemed just as good.

With regret, I'm withdrawing. My timings are more absolute than last time due to family stuff. Have a good ride, those who didn't do august it is a great ride out.
