I do think people should be more than just aware that there are caged and potentially in the area.

Yes, I know you can drown in shallow water but the sign seems a bit contradictory to me.

Showing something other than "shallow" in the triangle does seem that way.

The main reason for posting Danger - Shallow water would usually be if people expect it to be deep, and dive in.
