Well it's been raining for the last three days and today it's half day Friday so it was off to the bike cave. I started to teardown the Kestrel KM40 airfoil I bought a few weeks back. I visited the painter last week and the earliest I can get it in is mid October. We discussed my paint ideas, and I have several designs drawn out that I'll email to him in the next month. He knows he has creative freedom to intrepid my drawings, which has always worked well with past paint jobs. In the next couple of weeks I'll visit the bike shop to get a whole new group set ordered, along with other parts. Not sure I'll stay with the spinergy wheels yet, or go with Hed tri spokes. I've had spinergy wheels on one of my other Zipps many years ago, but really enjoy the tri spokes.
